What's the last thing you lied about?
Probably saying I'd read something when I only read the headline. Happens more than I'd like to admit.
When was the last time culture actually surprised you?
When that random TikTok sound became more influential than most major label releases. The speed at which something can just matter now is still wild to me.
If you could uninvent one thing from the internet, what would it be?
The 'like' button. Not because it's bad, but because I want to see what we'd do without it. Would we still create the same way?
What's a cultural take you have that would get you in trouble?
Most 'authentic' content is just as calculated as the stuff people claim is fake. We're all performing now.
What do you think people will romanticize about this era in 20 years?
The chaos. The way everything felt unstable and unpredictable. Future nostalgia is going to be weird.
What's something everyone pretends to understand but doesn't?
NFTs. Even the people explaining them don't really get it. We're all just nodding along.
Last one: What's something you believe that you didn't believe a year ago?
That taste is dead. I used to think people just had different tastes. Now I think the algorithm killed the idea of taste entirely.
